Getting about in London:
If you are in London and you want to get (a few kilometres) across London fast, then the London Underground (aka The Tube) is a usually good option. Though, for short journeys, London buses may be quicker and more convenient. Look out for the new Route-Masters!

Tube vis-a-vis bus: Hopping on a bus, means you don’t waste time traversing escalators and long underground walk ways to get to the station platforms. On the bus, you have the opportunity to enjoy the many wonderful sights of London out of the window as the bus wends it’s way to your destination. London Buses offer a great alternative to The Tube of you haven’t got to travel so far.

If you think the journey is walkable, then why not check out the route, distance and time using our route finder. To see what the journey is like from any preferred location to any of the listed London attractions, click here for the Route Planner on this website. You’ll just need to enter your postcode, town or city and choose the venue from our drop down menu.

If you leave enough time for your journey, then traveling to your destination across this wonderful capital city can be a pleasurable part of the whole London experience.
